Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties:

- Drive tow truck to assigned locations to pick up and transport vehicles

- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment

- Secure vehicles properly to ensure safe transportation

- Perform other roadside assistance funtions including tire changes, jumpstarts, fuel deliveries and lockouts.

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their concerns

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members in a professional manner

- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the tow truck

- Maintain accurate records of each tow, including vehicle information, destination, and any additional services provided

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostics is a plus

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

- Familiarity with operating flatbed tow trucks is preferred

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

- Good conflict management skills to handle challenging interactions with customers or other drivers
