Agility Partners is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open QA Automation Engineer role. This is an exciting opportunity for you as your primary responsibility would be to assist with setting the overall vision and strategy for all performance testing activities. You will be responsible for learning the current Digital and Point of Sale technology stack and applying these learnings to develop a performance testing approach for all other applications. In this role, you will:

* Help plan and manage all performance testing activities.

* Review all application code and configurations to ensure optimal performance

* Follow production deployment processes and guidelines as it relates to performance testing

* Help manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality

* Help conduct performance testing reviews

* Help create and execute automated performance tests upon code deploys (CI)

* Assist with troubleshoots and help identify performance bottlenecks

**The Ideal Candidate**

Qualified applicants for this position will bring the following:

* 7 years of experience with industry experience. Preferably in an Agile Development Environment

* Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java (Preferably Spring Framework) Development

* Extensive experience in using Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Maven Automated Testing Frameworks

* Proficient in utilizing Cloud Load Generation Tools (JMeter preferred)

* Experience in API Automation testing using Nodejs and Java
