Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vans and sometimes wheelchair vans
- Transport passengers to their designated locations on time
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver, such as school bus driving, delivery driver, commercial driving, van driver, paratransit, shuttle driving, or bus driving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
