SUMMARY
Russell is currently seeking a Supplier Diversity Coordinator in our Atlanta, GA office to support our client, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, ambitious $18 Billion Capital Improvement Program. We seek a dedicated and passionate candidate who is serious about enhancing diversity and inclusion within our projects. This role is instrumental in ensuring compliance, engaging with key stakeholders, and facilitating the implementation of our supplier diversity policies and procedures. Your primary focus will be monitoring and tracking diversity participation in the program for various projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program outcomes that align with our strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor assigned projects for minority inclusion compliance, ensuring all activities meet city and program standards.
Project Participation: Actively participate in weekly project meetings to stay informed and contribute to the project's progress.
Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, including the City of Atlanta, to ensure open and effective communication.
Data Management: Input relevant data to generate comprehensive monthly reports that track project compliance and progress.
Policy Implementation: Implement the program's policies and procedures with precision, contributing to the program’s overarching goals for supplier diversity.
Meeting Attendance: Attend pre-bid, pre-proposal, and pre-construction meetings to understand project scopes and requirements fully. Also, participate in post-award meetings to ensure all diversity commitments are understood and followed.
Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve contractual, compliance, and technical issues that may arise, providing solutions that align with program objectives.
Reporting: Compile data from various sources to produce detailed reports that support decision-making and program evaluation.
Onsite Monitoring: Perform onsite monitoring to ensure contractors' compliance with diversity and inclusion requirements.
Payroll Review: Review certified payrolls for accuracy, ensuring compliance with wage requirements and financial integrity.
Senior Interaction: Interact professionally with Senior Staff and Project Managers, providing updates and insights related to supplier diversity efforts.
Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourages others to do the same.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience in supplier diversity, project management, or a related area within the construction, aviation, or public sector.
Strong understanding of compliance monitoring and contract management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in data management and report generation.
Ability to attend and contribute to various meetings, offering insights and solutions related to supplier diversity.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment that promotes diversity.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating procedures and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Work in various offices, tour construction sites and work with estimating software. Must be able to perform under pressure and evaluate situations and make accurate decisions immediately.
