To support our manufacturing and warehouse campus locations, the H-E-B Industrial Facility Services team provides maintenance, repair, and construction in ammonia refrigeration, plant utilities, automated systems, and building services.As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you'll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. 'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that makes H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... skills to show respect / honesty toward Partners, customers, and vendors?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... ability to seek out opportunities to learn / develop yourself?PASSION FOR RESULTS... attention to / focus on appropriate detail?We are looking for:- a high school diploma- experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction tradesWhat is the work?Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:Buildings- Performs basic office remodel skills- Applies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods- Repairs / replaces basic plumbing fixtures- Reads site drawings, symbols to repair / replace doors, walls, various types of flooring, and other types of materials used for building repairMechanical- Repairs / installs power transmission equipment- Repairs / replaces various types of mechanical apparatus containing bearings, belts, drives, sheaves, and sprockets- Performs skill-level appropriate preventive maintenance (PM)Hydraulics & Pneumatics- Reads hydraulic schematics to repair / identify hydraulic system components- Makes flow control adjustments and pressure adjustments to hydraulic / pneumatic equipment- Performs skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFire Systems- Applies knowledge of wet systemsElectrical- Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment- Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipmentWhat is your background?- High school diploma- 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction tradesDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B B&G Industrial Maintenance Partner?- Working knowledge / understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC), the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters, and Ohm's law- Working knowledge of different types of sprockets, bearings, v-belts, drive belts, and sheaves- Strong organization and time-management skills- Strong written / verbal communication and skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail- InitiativeCan you...- Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone position- Climb; work from a ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)- Lift and carry 75 lbs- Work in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees08-2018
