Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and management to ensure accurate and efficient operations. This is a vital role in our organization, as inventory management plays a crucial role in meeting customer demands and optimizing supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes related to inventory management
- Oversee the implementation of new inventory management systems or software
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms for procurement
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control processes
- Train and supervise a team of inventory associates
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using inventory management software systems (e.g., Power BI, SQL)
- Experience in demand planning and forecasting techniques
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
