Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Records Specialist. As a Records Specialist, you will be responsible for ordering, compiling, and summarizing medical records.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Records Specialist, Legal Assistant, BI Adjuster, or similar role is required.
Law office experience or insurance experience is preferred.
Duties:
- Organize and maintain medical records in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information
- Retrieve and summarize medical records as needed
- Call and update clients on case status
Experience:
- Previous experience working in law firm or insurance company is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
