We are looking for an Interconnection Manager to work internally and externally to ensure a smooth interconnection process for Distributed Energy Resources (DERs)

What you might bring:

• 3-5 years of Solar interconnection or utility experience

• Knowledge of electricity market rules
• Self-motivated and disciplined

• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful problem-solving abilities

What you will do:

•  Manage projects for customer satisfaction, profitability, and future process improvements

• Act as primary interface and establish strong working relationships with Transmission Service Providers and Utilities
• Interconnection subject matter expert - Developing and maintaining a fundamental understanding of current RTO and utility tariffs, interconnection processes, and other relevant rules or codes
• Assist the project team in creating and evaluating requests for proposals for interconnection subcontract work

•  Provide leadership — advancing safety, teamwork, and discipline—resulting in efficient and professional contract completion
• Provide technical input to Project Development, Sales, Finance, & Operations teams as projects are evaluated for purchase, development, and ongoing investment
•  Review and understand scope of work and project specifics ensuring positive customer experience and compliance with local building codes
• Lead coordination calls as needed to keep projects on schedule, with the appropriate Utility for each grid connected project
•  Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

Base Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
