Guggenheim Services, LLC is Hiring a Campus Recruiter Near New York, NY

Position Summary

Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an Investment Banking Campus Recruiter to join its team. As a Campus Recruiter, you will help execute the firm’s Investment Banking campus recruitment strategy and manage the end-to-end process for the intern and full-time Analyst and Associate programs.

The candidate will join a highly collaborative team sitting on the broader GS Operations team, working under the Head of Recruiting. The Campus Recruiter plays a pivotal role in helping to brand and position GS on campus, build relationships with candidates, career services, and our clients – the Investment Banking team, and build out the internship and full-time programs. Candidates should have exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to think creatively. The position is located in New York.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify potential talent and help hire them through effective communication and relationship building
  • Track all recruitment data in order to provide statistical reports to senior management upon request and track the firm’s recruiting process year over year
  • Liaise and manage relationships with career services across target schools to plan and coordinate on campus recruiting events – information sessions, target events, interviewers, conferences, etc.
  • Manage target school’s dedicated school team (team of bankers responsible for liaising with campus recruiting on a particular school’s efforts) to develop and drive recruiting strategy on that campus
  • Represent the firm on campus
  • Plan and execute Superdays
    • Create interview schedules and secure interviewers
    • Conduct interview wrap-up sessions
    • Manage all day-of logistics
    • Prepare interview packets
    • Extend and manage all offers through offer decision
  • Drive initiatives around diversity recruiting, accelerated on campus processes, early pipelining events, and building out the non-target school recruiting process
  • Staff, attend, and represent the firm at diversity conferences
  • Coordinate full-time programs - including event planning, vendor management, internal training modules, program budgets, etc.
  • Coordinate all summer internship program requirements, including intern performance management, training program needs, educational and networking events, end of summer offer decisions, and the full-time sell process
  • Coordinate onboarding process for all on campus hires
  • Act as point of contact for all on campus hires
  • Think creatively around sell strategies and how to improve offer acceptance rates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask and perform with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional client relationship skills
  • Experience in managing events, high quality internship, and pipeline programs
  • Strong organizational skills (includes inbox management and timely responses to all inquiries)
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing work environment and priorities
  • Demonstrable evidence of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Utilize effective communication and follow-through while acting as a dependable point of contact for recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers
  • Experience working with and in application tracking systems is preferred
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel (especially during peak on campus recruiting season)

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting or a related discipline preferred (knowledge of financial services industry is a plus)

Salary Details

  • Annual base salary between $90,000 and $130,000.
  • The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
  • Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­­­­New York office at least 4 days per week.
