Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA to AWS Migration Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP HANA and AWS cloud platform, with a proven track record of successfully migrating SAP workloads to AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle migration projects from SAP HANA to AWS cloud platform.
• Evaluate existing SAP HANA environments and devise tailored migration strategies to meet specific business needs.
• Architect, strategize, and execute seamless SAP HANA database migrations to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Translate and validate views in AWS environment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP Basis, Infrastructure, and Application teams, to ensure smooth migration processes.
• Develop and enforce best practices for deploying SAP HANA on AWS, emphasizing security, scalability, and performance enhancement.
• Offer technical guidance and assistance to project teams throughout the migration journey.
• Perform thorough post-migration evaluations and optimizations to uphold the stability and efficiency of SAP HANA systems on AWS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA modeling and migration.
• Proficiency in utilizing AWS services like Redshift, Databricks, Athena, S3, and SNP Glue.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud platform, particularly in employing migration tools such as AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT).
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA database administration, modeling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Solid grasp of SQL, PLSQL, or MySQL.
• Thorough understanding of SAP architecture and its integration with AWS services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Database - Specialty are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
