The Impound Clerk/Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and maintaining records pertaining to work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information organized and easily accessible for supervisor. paperwork, you will also be taking calls from our clients and helping to dispatch our drivers to service our clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide customer service excellence with every call.
• Coordinates, prepares, and processes the administration of tag and titles.
• Revises and updates REC procedure for procuring tags.
• Maintains DCC vehicle spreadsheet and updates the replacement vehicle spreadsheets with bids as they are received.
• Assigns vehicle numbers to new vehicles, tracks receipt of registrations/tags for new vehicles from dealers, creates vehicle receipts and data sheets for new vehicles, and coordinates the swap from the old to the new vehicle.
• Reviews usage reports annually and negotiates pricing.
• Maintain the liens for the company.
• Maintain processes for auctions process, collections, and place auction ads.
• Manages spreadsheet for the company to determine of title or CD
• Prepares monthly reports on REC title work processed, sold title work processed, and temporary tags issued.
• Ability to Answer multiple phone calls in a busy setting.
• Providing customers with pricing information
• Process customer payments
• Directing and assisting drivers

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reliable, strong customer service and professional demeanor
• Ability to answer multiple phone calls in a busy setting.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English.
• Accurate data entry
• Works well under pressure.
• Computer literate
• Acceptable background check and drug screening
• Dispatch experience a plus
• Knowledge or Towbook software a plus!

Physical Requirements

The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. good hearing and vision are required.
