Scope of Responsibility

As an Imaging Scheduler, you will be responsible for receiving/making calls to and from internal and external customers. Schedules, reschedules and confirms patient appointments for a variety of Radiological exams in a computerized system. Other duties to include are ensuring that appointment data is entered into Meditech/HIS accurately and completely.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of scheduling experience preferred
• Radiology experience preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrates initiative and adaptability
• Demonstrates multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, Indemnity and other third-party payers
• Proficient in Medical Terminology
