Contract Duration 6 Months
Pay range - $85 to 90/hr
Job Summary:
Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing Programs supporting projects within the IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services Portfolio.
Their role is to ensure that our team meets the client's expectations by delivering the Project on time, within budget, in scope, and with high quality.
Ensures projects are operating effectively.
Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program metrics/objectives.
Full understanding of Program, Product, and Project Management activities both in Waterfall and Agile.
Full understanding of PI planning, ART execution, SAFe framework, Value Streams, Scrum & Kanban.
Ability to develop templates, roadmap, reports, metrics, and necessary documents
Measuring and reporting on the success of the program
Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
Communicates and champions the infrastructure requirements necessary to execute the IT portfolio.
Ensures compliance with Standards/regulations and governance processes.
Highly collaborative, able to work cross-functionally; possessing the ability to forge relationships and partner effectively.
Manages contractor's and vendor's relationships for the efficient delivery of services Monitors program results against technical specifications.

Provides IT services that include planning, development, implementation, and support for systems solutions required for the ***
Utilizes various tools and techniques for estimating costs associated with a project/program including physical, financial, and human capital costs.
Leads the effort in creative approaches to problem-solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
Accountable for negotiating conflicts and ensuring identified issues are resolved.
Provides leadership and motivation to team members.
Establish comprehensive service-level agreements.
Ensures that the project/program outcome reflects the goals of the organization/business.
Ensures timely and effective communication regarding the mapping of initiatives to business goals to business partners, including presenting information to IT and business leaders outlining portfolio specifics.
Acts as a liaison and conduit for information flow between the department team and the rest of the IT and business community, as well as with appropriate external stakeholders; manage the efficient and effective resolution of issues.
Monitors program results against technical specifications.
Ensures appropriate resources are assigned to each project/program.
Develops and manages a set of meaningful metrics to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Ensures compliance with standards/regulations and governance processes.
Develops and manages department budgets, regularly monitoring expenses against forecast, and providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances.
Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels.
Communicates project status to all stakeholders.
Senior Program Manager monitors, evaluates status, and reports on projects.
Develops, oversees, and implements policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards to support business operating plans and goals.
Communicates (oral and written) with peers inside and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging data.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Job-related experience, 8 years
SAFe RTE, Scrum Master, or PMI PMP Certification

Master's Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
2 years or more implementing Infrastructure projects
Note:
Preference is local candidates.
There is a need for them to be onsite at least a couple of times per month. At least twice per month.
Equipment Required: The client will only provide a laptop. The other equipment: Monitor, Cell Phone, keyboard, etc will need to be provided by their supplier or on their own. They will need a cell phone or telephone that can be used to communicate.
