What You Will Be Doing:
  • The Lead SAP Functional Analyst (Transport Management) will be responsible for the overall architecture, and design, related to SAP TMS configuration and system design.
  • This dynamic role will allow the individual to tap into their technical architecture, analytical, and leadership skills, interact with internal stakeholders, and think outside the box in developing creative solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Responsible for the overall technical architecture, and design, for SAP S/4 HANA TMS.
  • Accountable for software delivery including continuous improvement, practices, and principles.
  • Document major processes and development milestones.
  • Stay up to date with technology trends and industry best practices.
  • The Lead SAP Functional Analyst will develop & support enterprise architecture strategies for guiding principles, processes, policies, and standards.
  • Formulate and define systems scopes and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of application systems and industry requirements.
  • Analyzes business and user needs and follows through the full development life cycle.
  • Modify, maintain, and update complex TMS configuration and program routines.
  • Educate others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by TMS modules or other application systems.
  • Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the TMS System or other ERP application systems.
  • Monitor developers in software development methods, processes, and implementation of those methods.
  • Manage project plan, scope, risk, and resources.
  • Act as team leader for project teams.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and follow standards.
  • Manage work relations with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure solutions align with the IT long-term strategy.
Job Requirements:
What We Are Looking For:
  • 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field or equivalent experience
  • Requires 12 years of relevant experience configuring, deploying, and managing EWM solutions.
  • 5 years of Functional experience in SAP Transportation Management with min 1 to 2 end-to-end implementations on S/4 HANA.
  • Possess solid knowledge in SAP TM Master Data including Business Partner, Dangerous Goods transportation network such as Locations, Routes, Zones and resources vehicles, Trailers, HU, etc
  • Hands-on experience in OTR (order-based) & DTR (delivery-based) processes, including Selection, planning profiles, Condition optimizer planning and scheduling, Freight Execution Carrier selection, Tendering, and cost distribution.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP TM Charge Management includes Rate Tables*** Scales, Calculation Sheets, Freight Agreements
  • Strong hands-on experience integrating SAP TM with other areas such as SAP EWM, Freight Collaboration, SAP LBN, Project 44, and other third-party software such as PC Miler, SMC3, etc
  • Candidate should have experience working with businesses to understand their requirements.
  • Excellent external communication and leadership skills are required in dealing with customers and partners.
  • Excellent critical thinking aptitude.
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
  • Organizational and time-management skills are necessary.
  • Ability to use soft skills techniques to collaborate in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
  • Must demonstrate good oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Passionate orientation and attention to customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working with multi-geographic teams.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes, particularly under tight timelines.
  • Must be able to collaborate with varying levels of technical understanding and be a thought leader and change agent who is able to adapt to a very fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience in working with matrix organizations and handling multiple stakeholders would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines, and processes are preferred: Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, and Agile methodology.
  • Solves highly complex problems within their work team.
  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences.
  • Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Require travel periodically to visit Distribution centers and plants and collaborate with the teams.
Preferred:
  • Excellent project management skills. Save
  • EWM knowledge.
Nice to have:
  • SAP LBN hands-on experience especially Dock Appointment Scheduling
  • Knowledge of ABAP Development, Debugging, custom objects such as BADI, functional modules, ALV Reports etc.
  • Experience integrating TMS with Maxload.
