Why we need you:

Field Sales Engineers are the technical voices of the Sales team. We guide prospective teams at large enterprise organizations, often on-site, through their first experiences using the product, support them as they implement their test cases, and address any technical challenges they may face. We're product advocates and user advocates. Some experience in software testing can be helpful, but being a "people person" and a strong technical aptitude will take you far. This could also be a great role for a QA Engineer that enjoys coaching, solving challenges with solutions, and being a subject matter expert.

What you’ll do:

  • Become a product expert
  • Function as a technical point of contact and partner to one or more Field Account Executives during the sales process
  • Travel frequently to the locations of prospective customers
  • Resolve technical blockers during sales engagements
  • Engage with security teams and other technical and business stakeholders to facilitate deployment and adoption
  • Incorporate feedback from users back into the product roadmap
  • Educate users on advanced use of the product via remote and on-site trainings
  • Represent at various trade shows, meetups, and other events from time to time

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3 years of experience in technology-focused roles
  • Familiarity with Javascript and CSS/XPath queries
  • Exposure to front-end test automation and/or CI/CD tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of software development practices and/or DevOps
  • Passionate about working at a growing startup and learning new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to successfully interact with clients and stakeholders across organizations

The growing field team has multiple open positions. Our most pressing need is for candidates based in the Northeast and Bay Area. If you are near other tech hubs or metropolitan areas, we'd be very interested in speaking to you.
