GTIN Managed IT is a locally owned MSP, serving The Woodlands and North Houston areas for over 25 years, providing managed IT Support and project consulting to small and medium-sized businesses.

Summary:

• This position will be located in our office in The Woodlands, TX.
• This position is responsible for providing both remote (from GTIN) and onsite (client side) support to our customers. (This is not a work from home position)
• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Provide desk-side / onsite support for local area clients that can not be handled remotely.
• Accurate and detailed time entry and documentation
• Desire to learn, both independently and through mentorship

Responsibilities:

• Supports operation of help desk and serves as focal point for customer concerns.
• Small project work, onboarding, licensing implementations, etc.
• Perform PC Configuration pre-delivery based on our unique process;
• PC Hardware & Software Install & Troubleshooting;
• Windows OS Support;
• Technology Refresh;
• Cable Management;
• Printer/Scanner Installations;
• Mobile Device Support (iOS & Android);
• Network Hardware (Switches, Firewalls, WiFi, VOIP) Install & Replace;
• Simple Audio/Video & Conferencing Technology Install & Support;
• Manage Assets Between Our Office and Clients;
• Off-Boarding & Process for Recycling
• Organize & Manage Order Delivery Prep; Asset and Inventory;

Requirements include:

• 4 years of experience working in an MSP or IT Service Provider environment
• Above Basic Comprehension of Network Setups and Configurations
• CRM Experience (ConnectWise)
• Great phone skills and pleasant demeanor
• Professional manner and appearance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter / require minimal oversight
• Great customer service skills
• Outstanding problem solving / troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to manually lift up to forty (40) pounds when moving and repositioning computers and equipment.

Experience in:

Above Basic Comprehension of Network Setups and configurations (firewalls, routing, IP addressing, switches, wifi, etc.); Cloud-based solutions and management; Google G Suite / Microsoft Office 365 management; MS Windows and Server Operating Systems; Active directory, DNS, DHCP; experience required; ConnectWise experience a plus
