Experience: More than 5 years' experience

Skill Level:

• Performs a variety of tasks to support the Commercial Roofing Team
• Primary telephone contact for all team members and customers during the service process: includes updating customer records, setting up appointments, and following up with customers on a variety of issues
• Coordinates workflow of all assigned projects
• Supports leadership and while maintaining the mission, vision and beliefs of GSM Services
• Attend planning meeting with estimator
• Review plans/specs/scope of work/submittals/colors
• Check estimates for completeness and accuracy
• Agree with estimator what will be bought and what comes from the warehouse
• Fill out POA form completely
• Fill out a two-week schedule
• Review cost set-up (AIA billing)
• Not any special requirements
• Discuss labor in detail (crew size, # of days, schedule)
• Discuss pre-fab items in detail
• Remember the six items needed to be successful
• Organize and facilitate POA meeting with crew leaders and division manager
• Visit Jobsite on a daily basis
• Review schedule with crew leader
• Review manpower and labor needs with crew leader and set daily goals
• Review any changes / extras and be sure crew leader is coding correctly
• Attend subcontractor coordination meetings if applicable
• Measure and record daily progress
• Observe "flow" of workers and quality of work
• End production meetings (Fridays at 8:00am)
• Be prepared and ready to discuss:
• Schedules review
• Problems and delays
• Pre-fab / SM Fabrication
• Cost reports
• Review Cost Reports
• Labor is labor in line with projected? Adjust accordingly
• Materials Review delivered materials

Requirements:

• Knowledge of customer service principal and practices
• Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as scheduling, spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
• Skill in verbal and written communication
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks.
