Summary/Objective

The Retail Merchandise Planning and Allocation Lead is responsible for forecasting future demand of the Retail channel and ensuring appropriate inventory is available with regards to Sales and Operational Planning. This is a collaborative position that will work in partnership to coordinate efforts across Operations, Purchasing, Production, and Fulfillment departments. This role requires analysis and synthesis of data from several data systems and requires routine reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the rest of the business. 

Job Duties

• Build & maintain the Retail demand planning forecasts down to the style/month/store level.
• Achieve Retail order fill-rate goals through management of inventory in-stock targets & weeks of supply targets.
• Transform data into meaningful, professional, and easy-to-understand formats for leadership review.
• Identify & analyze trends, strategies, and tactics to increase the productivity of the Retail Channel to drive positive performance on KPIs.
• Complete & review weekly point-of-sale reporting and identify opportunities for growth & missed sales opportunities.
• Develop & maintain additional reporting as requested for the Retail Channel.
• Coordinate with store personnel from time to time
• Perform the allocations on time in order to maintain the flow of merchandise and meet logistic requirements
• Analyze the spreadsheet reports, size selling data in order to identify improvement opportunities and implement allocation strategies to maximize business.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

• Advanced knowledge/experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, Allocation or Business Analysis roles.
• Firm grasp of supply chain management and product lifecycle management.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Apparel experience is a plus.
• Data Modeling
• Veteran experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Some weekends may be required.

Travel

Based out of San Antonio/ Austin. Occasional travel to San Antonio would be required. 

Potential for this to be fully remote depending on candidate location.
