Grube, Inc is an established and growing 60-site restaurant system that is a franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings, Marco's and R-Taco with locations in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and California. We’re looking for a dynamic HR professional to join our growing team.

This position will be responsible for 20 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Virgina areas, and will have the ability to travel up to be a on-site support for employee relations and manager meetings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will focus on: Strategic planning; oversight of talent acquisition; employee development; employee relations; and data analysis. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Talent Acquisition

Oversees that the recruitment/selection process is effective and properly resourced:

· Aware of the store headcount and vacancies that need recruitment efforts

· Screens and interviews leadership job candidates, as needed

· Provides hiring managers multiple qualified candidates for open positions

· Sets standards and reporting to ensure timely processing of candidacies

· Provides recommendations to leadership on candidate hiring

· Ensures that orientation process is established and executed

· Supervises the orientation/onboarding process for all new hires

Employee Development

Ensure employees acquire the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for successful performance.

· Assist in the assessment phase of our employee development process, including using methods of committees, surveys, employee interviews, exit interviews, leadership requests, observations, performance evaluations, in conjunction with store management and HR leadership

· Work with store management in the development and the maintenance of an employee development matrix

· Assist in the evaluation phase of our employee development process which includes evaluating learning, reactions, behaviors, organizational results, and the training process.

Employee Relations

Help managers improve employee engagement at all levels.

· Design and implement processes to engage and mobilize employees

· Identify areas of conflict and potential litigation; draw management attention and resources to resolve issues on a timely basis

· Ensure an effective counseling system is in place to support required behaviors in the work place

· Coach management regarding counseling process

· Lead investigator in employee investigations

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Hardworking, dedicated, and eager HR professional who wants to grow professionally

· Strong HR background with at least three (3) years in a professional role preferred.

· HR Certification desired

· Strong verbal and written skills, ability to motivate people at all levels of the organization

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

· Solid understanding of multiple areas of human resources

· Ability to learn new concepts and implement them

· Excellent time management and project management skills

· Ability to adapt in a changing environment

· Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
