Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Altoona, WI

Position Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to contribute to the organization's success by supporting the sales and underwriting departments, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in helping the Cooperative achieve its targets and goals. They will assist the Sales Manager in implementing the Cooperative’s sales initiatives and strategies, coordinating pre-sale proposals, and proficiently overseeing sales administration processes.
Essential Position Functions
  • Coordinate, develop, and assist sales proposals for prospective, new, and existing groups.
  • Facilitate completion of RFPs and RFIs.
  • Follow-up on underwritten and book-rated quotes.
  • Receive and answer group questions, including but not limited to questions regarding benefits.
  • Set up and coordinate new groups within applicable system software/applications.
  • Assist in the preparation of group plan benefit documents, packets, presentations, and on-site enrollment meetings and trainings.
  • Assist in servicing existing Group Health clients (groups and individuals). This includes facilitating and preparing the renewal process with the Account Representative, Underwriting and Sales Manager, and the agent (if applicable).
  • Consistently follow the policies and procedures of the Sales and Underwriting Department.
Minimum Requirements of the Position
  • Minimum of one year experience in the insurance industry.
  • A current State of Wisconsin Accident & Health Insurance License or obtain it within 6 months of starting the position.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination skills.
  • Must have initiative, use independent judgment, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
