JOB SUMMARY
Do you have manufacturing experience and looking for a new opportunity? In this role you will learn
skills inclusive to a specialized industry. Perform intricate assembly operations and processes as well as
cast epoxy-based moldings for use in gas insulated lines at power generating facilities in the US and
abroad.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Use wide range of hand and power tools to assemble parts and insulators
*Prep and grinding of parts to fulfill daily requirements
*Clean parts using cleaning solution, air hoses, sandblasters and cloths
*Clean and maintain production equipment, machinery and workspace
*Break down hot molds; clean and reassemble to prepare for casting
*Weigh and mix product in vessel, following and maintaining process specs
*Operate valves to control vacuum and pressure in molds and casting chamber
*Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
QUALIFICATIONS
*Skills: Ability to use tape measure, basic hand tools and read blueprints
*Equipment Used: Overhead cranes, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape measure, hand
tools, sanders/grinders, sandblasting unit compressed air tools and cleaning equipment
*Certifications: None required
*Education/Experience: High School or equivalent. Manufacturing experience, mixing, molding,
sandblasting and grinding preferred, but will train the right candidate
*Physical Demands: Spends more than 2/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping/using
hands/reaching. Spends app. 1/3 of time walking and talking/hearing. Spends less than 1/3
time positioning items weighing up to 40 lbs.
