Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement activities
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop procurement plans
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that arise
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Proficiency in using Fourth Shift, SAP, or other similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for purchasing materials and supplies
- Experience in buying materials for manufacturing or production operations
- Knowledge of materials management principles and practices
- Previous experience with Edwards or similar inventory management software is a plus

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in managing the procurement process and ensuring the timely availability of materials for our organization. You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance. Your expertise in supply chain management and materials purchasing will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
