Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Fabricate and inspect various components and finished products
- Use precision measuring tools such as spectrophotometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurements
- Analyze data and test results to identify any deviations from quality standards
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes and procedures
- Adhere to all quality management systems, including ISO standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools, such as viscometers and ph meters
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
