Grimes Insurance Agency is Hiring a Commercial Insurance Account Manager Near Lubbock, TX

We are looking for an experienced account manager to connect with our Commercial insurance clients. In this role, you will be responsible for processing renewal applications, new business applications, marketing both renewal quotes as well as new business quotes to multiple insurance carriers, processing service requests in a timely and professional manner.
To ensure success as an Account Manager, you should have great communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Commercial Insurance Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Learning and understanding company insurance products.
  • Learning and understanding carrier appetites, products, coverages, and underwriting requirements.
  • Answering calls and responding to customer requests. Such as COI', endorsements, coverage changes, payment issues, finance company questions.
  • Accessing customer accounts and policy schedules.
  • Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products.
  • Recommending available products.
  • Forwarding customers to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated.
Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have 3 years Commercial Insurance experience.
  • Texas Insurance License
  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial insurance products and policy schedules.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of insurance related technology
  • Experience utilizing an agency management software and CRM.
  • High-level typing skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way.
