Hourly Rate: $21.66 This hourly position is responsible for the addition of raw materials to a blender to produce a quality finished food products and reports to the Mixing Team Captain on shift. This job requires employees to regularly stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Verify and assure accurate counts of raw ingredients needed to produce a blended food product. Addition of raw ingredients to the blender following governmental regulations of proprietary manufacturing sequence on the formula. Discharging blended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size. Sampling of blended product. Filling out of daily schedule control to document production, quality, and performance. Cleaning and sanitizing of the blender, sifter, and all support equipment. Sanitation of work station and surrounding areas. Disposal of trash and garbage dumpsters. Adherence to all department procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to maintain all performance standards. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral or written instructions. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to work and communicate with other plant employees and Shift Supervisor.
