Griffith Centers is Hiring a Day Treatment Therapist Near Colorado, CO

To provide direct individual, family, and group psychotherapies for youth and families in the Day Treatment Program for the purpose of effecting positive change, reunifying or maintaining youth with their families and to help youth appropriately function within a school setting.
Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or directly related field.
Demonstrates competence in: identifying the needs of traumatized children and adults; understanding child development; and individual and family functioning; working with difficult to reach, traumatized, or disengaged individuals with families; and collaborating with other disciplines and community resources.
Professional license through DORA in the State of Colorado - LPC, LCSW, or LMFT or correlated provisional licensure is required.
A CDE license in School Social Work is preferred.
Two years’ experience working with adolescents and their families is required.
Knowledge of and experience with systemic family therapy and solution-focused approaches is preferred.
Minimum age 21.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides a broad array of therapy services to adolescents, children, and their families in our day treatment program.
Maintain contacts, as necessary, with all person/agencies that may have an effect upon child/family functioning in order to coordinate service delivery and develop resources to aid effective discharge planning including family therapy.
May share on-call responsibilities after normal work hours with other clinical staff in order to respond to crisis, emergencies, and mental health needs.
Completes all paperwork required for client files per regulations and standards.
Participates in regular supervision with the Clinical Director and attends other meetings and trainings, as assigned.
