As an Automotive Warranty Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing warranty claims and ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate warranty service. You will collaborate with service technicians, customers, and warranty administrators to streamline the warranty process, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warranty Claims Management:
• Receive and review warranty claims from customers, service technicians, and manufacturers.
• Verify warranty coverage and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Submit warranty claims to the respective manufacturers or warranty providers within specified timelines.
• Track the progress of claims and follow up with manufacturers to expedite the process when necessary.

• Record-Keeping and Documentation:
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all warranty claims and related documents.
• Ensure accurate data entry and documentation of warranty repairs, parts used, and customer information.
• Compile reports on warranty claims, expenses, and outcomes as needed.

• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Collaborate closely with service technicians, service advisors, and service managers to facilitate efficient claim processing.
• Work with parts departments to order and track necessary warranty replacement parts.

• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct periodic audits of warranty claims to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Identify and report any potential issues or discrepancies in warranty claims.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus).
• Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office and our dealership management system - CDK.
• Knowledge of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer-specific guidelines is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and repair terminology is a plus.
