We are seeking a Window Covering Project Manager/Estimator to join our estimating team who is responsible for preparing and coordinating all work associated with creating takeoffs at all levels from plans, design, development, and construction documents estimate including soliciting subcontractors bids, evaluating scopes of work, preparing quantity and renewing project plans and specifications. projects include installations of window shading and light control products and systems.

Window Covering Project Manager/Estimator Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare takeoffs for windows for residential and commercial projects
• Familiar with Bluebeam, Procore, and Building Connected
• Consult with industry experts to discuss product
• Use computer software to generate takeoff
• Work with team to prepare quantities for bidding purposes
• Knowledge of window covering products from various manufacturers
• Inputs take-offs into a computer spreadsheet
• Recommend ways to make a product more cost-effective
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors

Window Covering Project Manager/Estimator Requirements:

• 4 years of preconstruction interiors estimating experience on commercial construction for window covering
• Understands window covering brands/products
• Either Part time or subcontractor
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates functional and technical knowledge and skills while striving to develop new skills and knowledge quickly
• Computer skills including the ability to use software (like Blue Beam), word processing, spread sheets, bid management, online plan rooms and database applications and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $100.00 per hour
