Responsibilities

• Liaison between our client (FDOT District 7) and the local law enforcement community.
• Assist with community outreach related to safety.
• Ability to perform detailed crash analysis and determine appropriate engineering, education, and enforcement countermeasures.
• Preparation and review of safety studies.
• Field investigation of high crash roadway corridors.
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and the desire to learn.
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without immediate and constant supervision.
• Ability to learn Florida Department of Transportation standards, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field is required.
• 10-plus years working with law enforcement agencies on crash investigations or comparable experience.
• Advanced knowledge of law enforcement crash reporting systems.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, (particularly Word and Excel) preferred.
