- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Coordinate with project managers to track project expenses and ensure proper billing.
- Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare documents for audits.
- Process tax filings and maintain records for tax compliance.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and with integrity.
- Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related audit trails.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and entities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Bookkeeping certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
