Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Office Manager who will manage the office as well as run payroll and be responsible for accounts payable. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy of information
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Verify coding and obtain necessary approvals for payment
- Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Preform month-end closing activities including reconciliations
- Run weekly payroll on QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
- Report weekly 401k contributions
- Report montly sales and use tax
- Provide support for audits as needed
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience with budgeting and expense tracking
- Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
