Greer Southern Table is Hiring a Floor Manager Near Norwalk, CT

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and food service management, with exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Duties: - Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages - Train and manage a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, and other front-of-house staff - Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures - Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper set-up - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner - Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed - Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new front-of-house employees - Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales Qualifications: - Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role is required - Strong knowledge of culinary arts, food preparation techniques, and food service operations - Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff - Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively - Proficient in inventory control procedures and systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
