Commercial maintenance sales representative
The Commercial Maintenance Sales Representative sells programs and services to prospective new customers Outside of the office, in person or via phone. Conducts business development and follow-up of leads. Provides accurate service quotes based on property size and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
· The Outside/Inside Sales Representative sells programs and services to prospective customers
· Conducts outside business development in our community and follows up on leads in person or through means of telephone contact to identify customer needs
· Provides accurate service quotes and customized service based on property size and customer needs
· The main focus will be commercial maintenance sales
· Secures sales and works closely with the Account Manager to ensure proper hand-off
· Measures property with appropriate tools to ensure the utmost accuracy in the quoting process
· Follows established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell our products and services within an assigned geographic area, and product range.
· Maintains call records, account status, and customer feedback in CRM system
· Manages account records and programs in an organized manner
· Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from direct mailing/advertisement campaigns, community activities, and other resources
· Provides & Facilitates team support as needed
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Three years of outside sales experience, preferably in lawn/horticulture/pest field but not required.
· Training or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including experience as a technician is acceptable
· Excellent computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel
· Negotiation and influencing skills, Consultative sales skills and strong communication skills
· Knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales)
· Availity to build customer relationships and provide customer service
· Mathematical skill to calculate figures and amounts for estimates
· Time management skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance.
· Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
· Valid state driver’s license from state of residence within 30 days of hire, and a clean driving record per company standards
