Greenwood Star is Hiring a Leasing Professional Near San Antonio, TX

Greenwood Star is seeking an experienced Leasing Professional to join our team to assist in daily customer service operations. The ideal candidate will have 1 years' experience as a Leasing Professional in the multi-family industry and is able to manage the demands of a Class A property with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Record all telephone and walk-in visits on the appropriate systems
  • Fill out guest cards and maintain correspondence according to established follow-up procedures
  • Inspect potential move-in units and communicate required turnkey services to the Property Manager
  • Demonstrate sensibility and awareness to the community’s needs and requirements
  • Apply your knowledge of the community and of its units to find correspondences between client needs and product fit
  • Ensure that units are ready for resident move-in on the agreed upon date
  • Secure the new residents’ signature(s) on appropriate paperwork prior to move-in, and orient them to their new community
  • Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices
  • Implement marketing strategies and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Gather and assess information about market comparables in the surrounding area
  • Accept rental payments and forward them to the Assistant Manager/Property Manager responsibly and as needed
  • Create the lease, complete the relevant forms, and input all information accurately on Yardi in a timely manner
  • Maintain updated resident files and daily inspection reports for the community
  • Distribute all Company or community-related notices in a timely manner
  • Assist the management team with varied tasks as required
  • Consistently implement and enforce community policies
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on or off the property

Qualifications:

  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with peers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic understanding of Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws.
  • Flexible with work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed.
  • Computer software experience to include Microsoft Office, Yardi, RentCafé, and marketing flyer design.
