Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of all linens, towels, and other laundry items. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Duties: - Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures - Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor - Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area - Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies and notifying the supervisor when reordering is needed - Handle guest requests for additional or special laundry services - Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions - Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of laundered items - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads Skills: - Cleanliness - Hotel industry knowledge - Laundry operations - Dry cleaning procedures We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
