Position: Cooking Assistant

Location: Henderson, NC

Pay: $17/hr Benefits!

Experience: 2 years of kitchen experience is required.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Greene Resources is seeking a Cooking Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Prepare products that meet cook sheet specifications and all federal and state regulations.
• Maintain solid knowledge of all food products, sanitation standards, and all policies/procedures.
• Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, and staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs during the cooking and prep processes.
• Efficiently complete daily reporting and recap of the shift.
• Complete and maintain all cook logs, reports, and required documents following company and government mandated processes.
• Measure, weigh, sample all products, and follow recipes.
• Utilize slower periods of business to clean and or prep for future runs.
• Apply culinary techniques and contribute to the creative process.

Position Requirements:

• Possess a dedication to food quality with high standards for one’s performance.
• Ability to remain positive and in a good attitude throughout the shift.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical Skills.
