Greenco Environmental Services LLC is Hiring a Home Inspector Near Brea, CA

We are seeking an InterNachi Certified home inspector to join our team. The Home Inspector will be responsible for inspecting homes for potential buyers, sellers or homeowners. The ideal candidate will be an InterNachi Certified Home Inspector with work experience, a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Ideally, this position is part time and / or weekends as needed for booked inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, including the foundation, roof, electrical and plumbing systems, heating and cooling systems, and more.
  • Identify and document any defects for potential issues with the property.
  • Provide clients with detailed reports outlining the findings of the inspection.
  • Communication effectively with clients to answer any questions and address any concerns they may have.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and client interactions.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to continue education and stay current with changes in the field.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Home inspection certification from a reputable organization like InterNachi.
  • Knowledge of residential construction and building codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to carry and climb ladders and crawl through crawl spaces and attics.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
