Greenberg Trial Lawyers is a top tier criminal defense and civil rights law firm. We are searching for a trial attorney committed to serious criminal defense and civil rights cases, to work on trial and appellate litigation involving wrongful convictions, police misconduct, and criminal defense.

This position is for a Chicago-based attorney who will conduct investigations, have primary responsibility for civil discovery, do research and writing, and try cases.

Required:

· Trial and litigation experience

· Demonstrated commitment to civil rights and criminal justice

· Exceptional writer

· Excellent communication and client relationship skills

· Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter

· Strong commitment to ethics

· Licensed in Illinois

Job Duties:

· Build strong relationships with clients

· Evaluate and investigate cases for merit

· Manage and conduct discovery

· Draft and edit briefs at all stages of litigation

· Prepare cases for trial

· Prepare and argue appellate cases

Compensation includes base salary with bonus opportunities and full benefits.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
