Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is excited to announce we are currently hiring for a dynamic Registered Nurse for our Facility in Pottsville, PA.

*We currently have openings for Second and Third Shift*

The Charge Nurse is responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents assigned to their care during their shift change, or tour of duty. This includes, but is not limited to: provision of nursing services; and assisting in: carrying our physician's orders; assessing residents to note any changes in resident's condition; distribution of medications, chart medication, distribution & count narcotics & maintain narcotics inventory record; provide leadership and guidance to C.N.A. staff, and respond immediately to emergencies.

Major Job Duties:

• Visit each resident as assigned on shift and provide nursing care as ordered.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate prior to end of shift.
• Notify physician and families of change in resident condition and implement physician's orders in resident care as instructed.
• Provide information and support to resident and their families as needed.
