Green Tree School & Services is seeking a qualified Food Service Worker to be responsible for supporting all food service program activities. This includes, but is not limited to food preparation, service and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support with the day to day operations of the food service program.
• Support all service operations including food production, service, and sanitation.
• Take accurate meal counts during point of service.
• Ensure food in storage meets adequate temperature and cooling levels.
• Assure that sanitation and safety practices comply with federal, state and local regulations.
• Manages program in accordance with all federal, state and local requirements.
• Attends job-related training classes and workshops.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of Students with unique challenges and abilities.
• Sweeping, Moping and wiping down the Kitchen area daily.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager and Director.

WORK SKILLS

• While performing the essential duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to use hands to finger, talk and hear. The individual frequently is required to stand and walk for more than 75% to 80% of the day.
• Works at a kiosk and/or computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Works in a traditional climate controlled office environment.
• Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and diverse employee population.
• Be able to occasionally lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
