Company DescriptionMental Health ServicesJob DescriptionSalary: $70,000/yrJob Type: Permanent Direct HireLocation: You will be assigned to a school based in Washington, DC. Schedule: Monday-Friday daysResponsibilities: Creating a safe and accepting environment in which students feel comfortable expressing their needs.Keeping up with district and school policies, state and federal law and the needs of families for information sharing and confidentiality.Effectively communicating with students’ teachers, school staff, district administrators and children’s caregivers to meet children’s mental and emotional health needs.Preparing and completing diagnostic and bio-psychological assessments, clinical notes, referrals, treatment plans of clients as appropriate.Keeping and updating HIPAA-compliant records containing privileged health information about minors.Learning and applying evidence-based diagnosis and treatment protocols in compliance with state licensing standards.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldMust be licensed in Washington DC as LPC, LICSW or LMFT1 year of Mental Health experienceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
