Position: Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper
Location: Sierra Sky Ranch
Reports to: General Manager
The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's laundry department. They are responsible for efficiently processing all hotel linens and other related items. The Laundry Attendant ensures that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and delivers exceptional guest experiences through timely and quality laundry services.
Laundry Attendant performs the following duties:
Retrieves used linen from containers or receptacles throughout facility.
Loads/unloads laundry to/from washers and dryers.
Equipment Operation: Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, pressers, and steamers, while following safety guidelines.
Stain Treatment: Identify and treat stains on fabrics appropriately using industry-approved stain removal techniques and products to ensure high-quality results.
Reports all safety risks and needed repairs to management.
Separates and folds laundry items using “Extra Hand Device” for sheets, bedspreads, and larger pieces.
Orderliness and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including laundry storage rooms, equipment, and linen closets, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Guest Service: Assist with guest laundry requests, including pickup, delivery, and handling special instructions or preferences to provide personalized service.
Collaboration: Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Maintenance, to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of clean and pressed linens.
Places clean laundry on pushcarts or push racks and distributes to storage locations.
Stores clean linen and other items.
Monitor and maintain inventory of linens and supplies, including detergents, fabric softeners, and other laundry-related items. Report any shortages or damaged items to the supervisor.
Quality Control: Inspect laundered items to ensure they meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation, and promptly address any issues or rewash items as necessary.
Perform other duties as required, including cleaning guestrooms, outdoor areas, public areas, and restrooms. Assist with property special events, as needed.
Lifting: Frequently Between 10- 50 lbs.
Carrying: Frequently between 10-30 lbs.
Pushing and pulling: 5 to 10 times a day 70lbs

Rate: $16.00 – $17.50
