Job description: As an Inner Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering students' and educators' holistic growth and well-being within our educational institution. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that promote inner development, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and personal growth among students, teachers, and staff members.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

  • 190 work days with salary determined by current South Carolina teaching certificate as it relates to the GREEN teacher’s salary schedule 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in education, counseling, coaching, or related fields, focusing on inner development and personal growth.
  • Strong understanding of mindfulness practices, emotional intelligence, and human development theories.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with students, educators, and staff members.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to supporting the well-being of others.
  • Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs and challenges of the educational community.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for program management and evaluation.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inner development programs tailored to the needs of students, educators, and staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate inner development practices into the curriculum and daily routines.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions on mindfulness, self-awareness, stress management, and emotional regulation.
  • Provide individual and group coaching sessions to support personal growth, resilience, and well-being.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations, experts, and resources to enhance the effectiveness of inner development initiatives.
  • Evaluate the impact of inner development programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in inner development, psychology, and education.
  • Serve as a resource and support system for students, educators, and staff facing personal or professional challenges.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive school culture that values empathy, compassion, and self-reflection.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between inner development initiatives and broader educational goals.
