Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance & Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As a Finance & Insurance Coordinator, you will be part of the RCM and performing all financial and insurance-related activities within our organization. This is a crucial role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Above anything else, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude with a strong growth mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties related to the finance and insurance department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations
- Submit claims and post all insurance payments
- Work on rejected claims, correct mistakes, resubmit or follow up with insurance company
- Collect balances on aging accounts
- Send accounts to collection agency
- Assist with credentialing
Requirements:
- Proven experience in finance or insurance management
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Dental Codes, dental terminology, insurance verification, or dental office procedures
