Key Responsibilities:
Patient Consultation and Education:
● Meet with patients to discuss treatment options, explain procedures, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
● Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of compliance with treatment plans.
Treatment Planning and Coordination:
● Collaborate with orthodontists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
● Schedule appointments for initial consultations, follow-up visits, and adjustments according to treatment plans.
● Coordinate with other dental specialists if multidisciplinary treatment is required.
Financial Coordination:
● Provide patients with detailed information on treatment costs, payment options, and insurance coverage.
● Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and filing insurance claims.
● Coordinate payment plans and financial arrangements as needed.
Administrative Duties:
● Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and financial transactions.
● Manage appointment scheduling and reminders to ensure efficient use of clinic time.
● Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients and referring dental offices.
Patient Care and Support:
● Offer ongoing support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
● Address patient concerns or emergencies promptly and professionally.
