Job Overview: As the Front Desk, you will be the face of our practice, warmly welcoming patients and their families, and providing outstanding customer service from the moment they walk through our doors. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be critical in managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix, optimizing the appointment book for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate patient check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and handling insurance claims accurately.
  • Effectively address patient inquiries, providing information on dental procedures, treatment plans, and financial options.
  • Maintain patient records with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with our dental team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional patient care.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area for a comfortable and child-friendly atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our office procedures, suggesting innovative ideas to enhance the patient experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a pediatric dental office, with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software for scheduling, billing, and patient records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all front desk tasks.
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and patience to create a welcoming environment for our young patients.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic dental office setting.
