Greater Philadelphia Health Action is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Trainer Near Philadelphia, PA

We are presently seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Trainer. Requirements include: 

  • Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science – OR - five (5) years of experience in EMR and Electronic Practice Management software systems (EPM), health insurance, plan eligibility, authorizations, billing practices, claims processing, and training delivery.
  • Proven record of developing and facilitating training. 
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills to generate, evaluate, interpret, and report information 
  • Excellent clear and concise communication (oral and written), classroom teaching, and platform skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple health care facilities.

Preferred Skills and experience include:

  • Knowledge of NextGen®, Avatar®, or comparable EHR and EPM systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical workflows.
  • Healthcare software implementation, support, and training.
  • Developing e-learning modules and webinars. 

General Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Assist with designing, developing, and delivering on-site and remote training on the use of EPM/ EHR software to employees in the medical, behavioral health, and dental divisions.
  • Auditing EPM or EHR users for adherence to quality and quantity performance standards to minimize errors and maximize revenue.
  • Assist with scheduling, registering, tracking attendance, monitoring participation/engagement, testing, and reporting on training results.
  • Preparing training materials, teaching tools, learner references, a library of webinars, and how-to videos.
  • Generating practice management reports to identify skill/knowledge gaps and training needs.
