Greater Midland Community Center – Housekeeping Professional

The Position
We are seeking an individual who is a team player and wants to help promote the best experience possible for our members, guests and staff. As the Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the Greater Midland facility and are expected to perform daily and monthly cleaning tasks. You are responsible for room and gym setups among other essential duties. You will also respond to pages and emergency requests as needed. As the Housekeeping Professional you must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the mission of the organization.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Performs daily cleaning of the facility, inside and outside.
  • Cleans the fitness floor, bathrooms and locker rooms.
  • Follows multiple sheets daily to ensure room setup and reservations.
  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checks on housekeeping equipment and facility and reports damages.
  • Performs general custodial duties and daily room and gym setups.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience working as a housekeeping/maintenance professional.
  • Excellent time management with ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting /Carrying 50 pounds or less
  • Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, squatting, kneeling
