Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is Hiring an Office Administrator (part time) Near Issaquah, WA

Office Administrator
The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce Office Administrator is a key position and will assist in overseeing various administrative functions.
Our Office Administrator will perform office duties while adhering to our organization’s values and principles. This person must be comfortable working with a variety of businesses and professionals. Working events such as Salmon Days, and occasional smaller events that take place in the evening, early mornings, and weekends will be required.
Reports to:
The Office Administrator works under the close supervision of the Executive Director.
 
 Job Duties:The core tasks for this position are communication and organization. Duties include but not be limited to:
  • Work with the Chamber team to assist in the day to day operations of the Chamber.
  • Prepare and send out all monthly correspondence.
  • Maintain a CRM database.
  • Provide phone coverage.
  • Welcome guests to the Visitor Information Center.
  • Attend Chamber functions including, luncheons, daytime and evening networking events, banquets, and festivals.
  • Manage supplies, mail, and welcome baskets.
  • Visiting new and existing business.
  • Manage updates to website for the Calendar of events and the business community.
  • Manage social media for content.
  • Understand full benefits and services the chamber provides to its membership.
  • Work with the membership to support the success our their businesses.
  • Work on special projects as assigned, keeping accurate documentation of progress and completing by deadline.
  • Work with the staff to assist with the day to day operations of Chamber events and Salmon Days.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with clients in person, over the phone and via electronic communication in a professional manner.
  • Be organized, maintain job specific records and able to track and finish tasks on a daily basis.
  • Good computer skills including but no limited to Excel, CRM's, Word, Email, Power Point.
Educational Qualification and Experience: 
Candidate must possess a minimum of a high school education, be articulate, have excellent writing skills, the ability to proof read and correct correspondence, and have a high level of working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Those with additional computer skills, graphics, accounting, video, and/or organizational management are encouraged to apply.
 
 Salaries and Benefits: 
The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce provides a fun, rewarding, and flexible work environment. We are looking for a team player to join us. This is a part time position. Hours will range from 25 – 28 hours per week (on average). This is primarily an in office position. Flex time is available, some remote hours may be available on an irregular basis. Our culture is one of giving back and supporting the business community. Salary is commensurate to experience, with a starting range of $17- $21 per hour.
