English as a Second Language (ESL) Teaching Position

Mason High School is seeking an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will require the selected candidate to design learner-centered lessons and learning experiences that are appropriately challenging and support the best possible outcomes for English learners. In addition, the teacher will be expected to actively collaborate and build meaningful relationships with students, families and colleagues in service of establishing collective care for the learners.
Minimum qualifications include:
1. Valid English teaching license with an active TESOL endorsement issued by the Ohio Department of Education is required.
2. Experience working with ESL students is preferred.
3. Ability to establish a positive rapport with students, families and staff.
4. Willingness to engage and work as a member of a collaborative team.
